B.B. King has a new record out. It is called "One Kind Favor" and many are calling it a masterpiece. B.B.'s record label, Universal-A&M-Geffen, has given us copies of the new CD for you Blues Breathren. 

The band Little Feat is back with a bunch of friends on a brand new CD called "Join the Band". Joining the band are Dave Matthews, Jimmy Buffett, Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes and many more. Our friends at 429 Records have passed along some copies for us to pass along to you.

 

“The Georgia Songbird,” EG Kight, just released a new album called “It’s Hot in Here.”  EG has been nominated six times for Blues Music Awards and her songs have been recorded by many people including the legendary Koko Taylor.

We are giving away a Fender guitar played and signed by the legendary Buddy Guy! For one lucky runner-up, we have Buddy's 2007 career-spanning box set "Can't Quit The Blues."

 

Joe Bonamassa is back with a new double CD, "From Nowhere in Particular- Joe Bonamassa Live" recorded on his 2007 tour. He and J&R Adventures want to put a copy of his CD and a signed guitar into the hands of one lucky member of the Blues Breatren. Four runners up will get a copy of the CD. 

G. Love and Special Sauce play some amazing hip-hop blues. They have a new CD out called “Superhero Brother.” Brushfire Records and G.Love have given us 10 signed harmonicas that were used - and quite possibly even destroyed - in concert by G Love, along with 10 copies of the new CD to give away.

We have another up-and-coming blues musician to share with you. Trevor Menear comes from the electric blues capital, Chicago, Illinois. He new CD is "Introducing Trevor Menear" and Shangri-la Records has provided copies for us to pass along to you.

Take a peek into the Chicago Blues scene with a new CD from Mississippi Heat.  If you love blues harp, “Hattiesburg Blues” delivers the goods. Delmark Records has given us some copies to pass on to you.
 

The legendary Buddy Guy has a brand new CD.  Silvertone/Zomba records are proud to release Skin Deep, which features guest performances from Eric Clapton, Robert Randolph, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, and the Memphis Horns.  They have passed some copies along to us, and we are passing them along to you.

 

Dave Specter has long been a fixture in the Chicago Blues scene.  Now he is back with a new live set recorded in the Windy City at Buddy Guy’s “Legends” and Rosa’s Blues Lounge.  Dave gets special appearances from guests Jimmy Johnson, Tad Robinson and Sharon Lewis. 

Fresh off winning two Blues Music Awards earlier this year, including The Blues Band of the Year, Watermelon Slim and the Workers return with a brand new disc.  It is called No Paid Holidays, and we have got a bunch of copies from Northern Blues to pass along to some lucky brethren. 

 

The Boxmasters are the brainchild of award-winning actor Billy Bob Thornton.  Fashioned after a 60’s era mod band, the Boxmasters combines 60s rock influences with songs by Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, and Hank Williams.  Throw in Billy Bob Thornton’s wit and you’ve got a double disc of Electric Hillbilly. Vanguard Records has given us a bunch of copies of The Boxmasters to pass along to you.

Deborah Bonham, the younger sister of Led Zeppelin's John Bonham, is making her US debut with her new album, Duchess. Jason Bonham and Paul Rodgers make guest appearances. The fine folks at Rhino Records would like to introduce you to Deborah, so they have passed along some copies of her new CD. 

Mick Hucknall is the voice behind the platinum selling British pop band Simply Red.  When he was 19 years old, Mick heard Bobby Blue Bland for the first time.  Mick now pays A Tribute to Bobby - an album interpreting some of Bobby Blue Bland’s greatest songs. Rhino Records generously passed along some copies.

Summertime means time for blues festivals, and you can win your very own festival on one CD.
